"kide" expresses a crystal-like geometric pattern using jacquard weaving. The delicate brushstrokes drawn by the designer in the original sketch are brought to life through weaving. This dress is made from a textile that boasts a supple texture and luster from cotton and rayon, as well as the three-dimensional feel of the pile. The textile, which offers a delightful contrast between the smooth base fabric and the fluffy, three-dimensional pile, is made by a weaving mill in Wakayama Prefecture, the only one in Japan that produces fabric using this technique.
