This is a collaboration item with "THE INOUE BROTHERS". THE INOUE BROTHERS is a social design studio founded in Copenhagen in 2004 by Japanese-Danish brothers Satoshi Inoue and Kiyofumi Inoue. They propose a unique "Scandinasian Design" that combines the sensibility of Japanese culture with the simplicity of Scandinavian culture, and develop products based on uncompromising principles. Their projects aim to generate interest in responsible production methods through quality and design. One of these projects is the social design project they have been working on in El Alto, near La Paz, the capital of Bolivia. El Alto is a city formed mainly by indigenous people who migrated from the Andean highlands in search of work, and has opened up new possibilities through collaboration with them. In this collaboration, the bag incorporates the original pattern of "aguayo", a traditional Andean fabric woven in a workshop in El Alto. This special collection combines the colorful and beautiful traditional Andean weaving techniques with the craftsmanship that PORTER has cultivated over the years. The aguayo used throughout the bag is a traditional fabric carefully woven by the indigenous people of the Andes, and is an essential item for everyday life. For the Bolivian people who live in the harsh environment of the highlands, colorful expressions play an important role in creating a positive mindset. The vivid green and purple interior fabric is finished in a coloring that is reminiscent of the colorful aguayo. In addition, an original finger puppet made in Bolivia is included with every model. The hand-knitted finger puppet inspired by PORTER is a lovely item that is carefully woven one by one. In Bolivia, hand-knitted finger puppets made by women for their children and grandchildren have been popular for a long time. The market bag is durable and lightweight, and is widely used in South American markets as a bag to carry necessities. It is perfect not only for storing bags, but also for everyday use. The backpack is a functional item with many pockets. You can store your belongings in different pockets of different sizes and shapes. The gusseted side pockets can hold a folding umbrella or a 500ml plastic bottle. The zipper on the side allows direct access to the main storage area. The interior has a 13-inch PC storage pocket that can be accessed from the side without opening the flap. The bottom has a sling binder that can be used to easily secure and carry scarves, blankets, etc.
