This is a total series that focuses on the greatest characteristics of military gear, "practicality, functionality, and durability," with the details of the U.S. AIR FORCE nylon flight suit "FLYING SUIT / TYPE K-2A" manufactured in the early 1950s as a motif. Special page: https://www.yoshidakaban.com/special/pfa.html The material of this series was inspired by the flying suits of the time, and is a completely original material newly developed from thread to structure with the high technical capabilities of Made in Japan. Nylon filaments that are resistant to friction and bending, smooth and glossy, are woven into an Oxford pique style that is high density and lightweight. The surface is treated with a silley finish to give it a unique luster and firmness. Each item incorporates details found in military goods of the time, while also being sprinkled with specifications that fit everyday life. The main zipper has a wire automatic slider with a full-tanned cowhide leather pull, and the other zippers have semi-automatic slider pullers with an original PORTER mark. All models except the string strap (17043) have an original spec tag sewn on them, based on the woven label that lists the standards for procuring military supplies, and the original insignia "P.Y. AIR FORCE" is printed on them, based on the insignia that lists the nationality and unit. The oxygen tab used to clip the oxygen mask cord on the early MA-1 models has been made into a pocket that can store smartphones, etc. The shoulder straps are made by sewing a combination of general parts and tape to unique specifications, and a revolutionary system has been developed that allows smooth adjustment with one action. â– Patent No. 6698930 / Design No. 1659605 At that time, U.S. AIR FORCE soldiers custom painted their flight jackets and aircraft bodies, thinking of their families, lovers, and hometowns. Inspired by that culture, this series features two peaceful and charming "PILOT DOG'S" as the original pin-up dogs. This art was commissioned to London-based graphic artist Russell Maurice. All models come with a "PILOT DOG'S" sticker tag. This is a device holder that can store even larger smartphones. There are three ways to secure the holder: a carabiner at the top, a nylon tape with a vertical hook, and a hook-and-loop tape on the side. You can attach it to a D-ring, a bag strap, or a belt loop on your pants, anywhere that is easy for you to carry it. The shop-exclusive color "Air Force Blue" is based on the color of the flight suit at the time that became the motif. After many trials and errors, we finally reproduced this calm, deep color. Combined with the glossy nylon filament, it has a unique texture. *Some specifications may differ between the images shown and the product you receive. Please note in advance.
