This is a total series that focuses on the greatest characteristics of military gear, "practicality, functionality, and durability," with the motif of the details of the U.S. AIR FORCE nylon flight suit "FLYING SUIT / TYPE K-2A" manufactured in the early 1950s. The material of this series was inspired by the flying suits of the time, and is a completely original product newly developed from thread to structure with the high technical capabilities of Made in Japan. Nylon filaments that are resistant to friction and bending, smooth and glossy, are woven into an Oxford pique style that is high density and lightweight. The surface is treated with a silley finish to give it a unique gloss and firmness. Each item incorporates details seen in military goods of the time, while also being sprinkled with specifications that fit everyday life. The main zipper part has a wire automatic slider with a full-tanned cowhide leather pull, and the other zipper parts have semi-automatic slider pullers with PORTER engraved on them. All models except for the string strap (17043) have an original spec tag with a motif of a woven label that lists the standards for procuring military supplies, and an original insignia "P.Y. AIR FORCE" printed on it, based on the insignia that lists the nationality and unit. The oxygen tab used in the early MA-1 models to secure the oxygen mask cord with a clip has been made into a pocket that can store a smartphone, etc. The shoulder straps are sewn with a combination of general parts and tape to unique specifications, and an innovative system has been developed that allows smooth adjustment with one action. ■Patent No. 6698930 / Design No. 1659605 At that time, U.S. AIR FORCE soldiers custom painted their flight jackets and aircraft bodies, thinking of their families, lovers, and hometowns. Inspired by that culture, this series uses two peaceful and charming "PILOT DOG'S" as the original pin-up dogs. This art was commissioned to be created by London-based graphic artist Russell Maurice. All models come with a hanging tag with a PILOT DOG’S sticker. This is a daypack that can be used in both casual and business situations. It has two layers with plenty of storage space, the main layer is a large-capacity storage area with hanging pockets that are convenient for dividing things up, and the back layer has a PC storage pocket with thick cushioning. The side has a pocket with a motif of the radio pocket of an old military bag, and when you open the hook, there is a vinyl pocket where you can put maps and brochures, and a mesh pocket that is convenient for storing folding umbrellas and plastic bottles. The other side has a zippered pocket that is suitable for storing small items such as key cases and wireless earphones. This is a versatile daypack that can be used by both genders and scenes. The shop-limited color "Air Force Blue" is based on the color of the flight suit of the time that was the motif. After many trial and error, we finally reproduced this calm and deep color. Combined with the glossy nylon filament, it has a unique texture. *Please note that some specifications may differ between the images shown and the actual product.
