The "PORTER PATTERN" series incorporates the details of Aloha shirts, known as "reverse print," where the reverse side of the printed fabric is used as the front. Aloha shirt prints are characterized by palm and floral patterns, but this series uses arrangements of traditional Japanese patterns. The patterns are based on familiar patterns that you have probably seen before, such as arabesque, checkered, sayagata, seigaiha, and uroko, and are easy to match with everyday clothes. The main material is 100% nylon, but the warp threads are made from twisted taslan yarn, which has a cotton-like feel, and hollow yarn, and the weft threads are made from semi-dull yarn, which has little luster. This fabric has a characteristic of looking like a heathered pattern when dyed in a single color, and when printed, it has a faded look, giving it a tasteful look.
