This is an original folding umbrella that we commissioned to be made by Maehara Kouei Shoten, a long-established umbrella manufacturer that represents Japan. The umbrella body features the original camouflage pattern of PORTER STAND's exclusive "PS CHIP CAMO". From cutting and sewing the fabric to the frame, each umbrella is carefully made by skilled craftsmen with outstanding skills. The included umbrella bag made of the same material was made by a craftsman at Yoshida Kaban. *Maehara Kouei Shoten is a long-established umbrella manufacturer that represents Japan and was founded in 1948 in the downtown area of Tokyo, more than half a century ago. We continue to focus on Made in Japan, making use of Japanese craftsmanship. Our wonderful umbrellas, which are made using sophisticated parts such as umbrellas covered with silk and batik fabrics and umbrellas with natural wood handles, are loved by many famous people including the Imperial family. *Please note that there may be individual differences in the pattern between the image shown and the product you receive depending on where the fabric is cut.
