The PORTER FILM leather accessory series features thick shoulder leather that has been carefully coated with multiple layers of thin pigments and then lightly scraped with a file to create a unique look with light and dark tones. The leather, which has a dense texture, is made from tanned leather that has been carefully tanned by a tanner in Tuscany, Italy, who has been using a tanning method that uses only vegetable tannins for many years. The shoulder leather has a distinctive unevenness along the spine called a "tiger." When scraped with a file after glass processing, the unevenness causes differences in the way the leather is rubbed, resulting in an uneven finish, and each piece has a different look. Furthermore, the more you use it, the softer it becomes and the more it fits your hand. The zipper is a gold-plated Excella zipper that has a luxurious feel and is characterized by its smooth opening and closing and gloss. The design point of the series is to deliberately use a thick zipper even for small items such as coin cases. The exterior is finished with a genuine cut-edge polishing so that you can enjoy the contrast between the glass-finished black surface and the tanned leather. The edges are carefully polished and then finished with a top coat, and the interior is luxuriously made with only leather without any lining.
