The design is based on the Montreal II, one of the first jogging shoes released by Onitsuka Tiger in 1977.
The original shoes, along with their beautiful color, were one of the shoes that helped popularize jogging not only as training for athletes, but also as an activity that the general public could enjoy.
Distinctive details of the original are recreated, such as the rolled-up herringbone pattern outer sole and bright upper color variations.
The heel of the insole is equipped with 6mm thick GEL, which is the first time that this shoe has been used.
In addition, the midsole uses SPEVA, which has superior resilience and lightness compared to conventional EVA.
It cushions the impact on your feet and has been updated to provide a comfortable fit.
