Weight

Approx. 390g

Material

Ultra-high density yarn-dyed selvedge No. 8 canvas Okamoto Color Film JES certified eco-tanned leather

Attention

Because the warp and weft threads are multi-twisted, the yarns are difficult to dye evenly, and there may be unevenness in the shade. In order to prevent the dyed yarn from breaking, a small amount of wax-based oil is impregnated into the dyed yarn, and the oil may cause noticeable streaks due to friction during weaving. In the process of yarn dyeing, the yarns are divided into small pieces for dyeing, so many neps may occur. The clear film of the attached material generates static electricity due to friction, etc. This is especially likely to occur during the dry winter season. It has the property of softening and deforming at high temperatures, so do not use it in high temperature locations. It may burn or melt if brought close to a heat source. It also hardens at low temperatures and may be damaged by impact. Store the product in a place away from high temperatures and humidity, and away from direct sunlight.

Item Description

The main material is a yarn-dyed, selvedge No. 8 canvas woven at a super high density on an old shuttle loom. By weaving 33 weft threads instead of the usual 25, the material is finished into a thick material unique to shuttle looms. Another characteristic of this material is the paraffin-treated, firm texture, which is achieved by impregnating the yarn with a special oil after dyeing it to create an oil-paraffin-treated touch. All twisting, dyeing, weaving, and finishing are done by skilled craftsmen in Kojima, Kurashiki City, and mass production is impossible, as only 50m can be woven per day. The attached clear film is a domestically produced color film manufactured at Okamoto Corporation's Shizuoka factory. The attached leather has passed the Japan Leather Technology Association's 13-type hazardous substance test (JES) and is made of eco-cow leather tanned with vegetable tannins without using any substances harmful to the human body or hexavalent chromium. This is a casual series that can be worn by both men and women, available in a wide range of sizes and accented with original logo tape.
