Item Description
The main body material is oiled cow leather tanned with carefully selected full vegetable tannins from Europe by IL PONTE, a long-established tannery founded in 1961. The leather is rubbed with paper and finely brushed to create a soft touch and color. With use, the leather becomes smoother and the oil contained in the leather increases the luster and depth, allowing you to enjoy the unique changes that occur over time. The interior accessories are made of domestically tanned steer leather, which also changes over time, just like the main body material.
*IL PONTE is a tannery in the Tuscany region of Italy that continues to produce high-quality leather using the traditional Vacchetta method. They specialize in vegetable tanning and are a member of the Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Association, and are also GOLD certified by the LWG (Leather Working Group).
