Please note that it is not completely waterproof and cannot prevent water from entering through the needle holes in the stitching. If nylon material is left wet for a long time, the film on the back may peel off or deteriorate, so be sure to dry it before storing it. Water-repellent processing is a surface treatment, so the effect will fade with use due to friction. In addition, the water-repellent power will be lost due to dust and other dirt that adheres to the fabric. After use, we recommend removing dirt by brushing appropriately and using a commercially available water-repellent spray frequently. *Please use a water-repellent spray that is suitable for the material. When using, please read the precautions carefully and then test spray in an inconspicuous area. The attached leather may have wrinkles and scratches unique to individual leather. The main material is made by INVISTA, a certified factory that meets the production and quality standards of CORDURA® brand fabric, using 840d warp threads and 420d weft threads of Hollofil Air™ (66 nylon hollow threads) that are twisted together and then woven together to meet the CORDURA® brand fabric standards. The back side is PU coated and laminated with a special breathable waterproof film L-VENT® to further increase water resistance, creating a three-layer structure with tricot nylon bonded to it. This is master-piece's original fabric "MASTERTEX-09™" that combines durability, water resistance, and water repellency.
The leather used for the accessories is high-quality steer leather from North America, and during the tanning process, a waterproofing agent made by 3M is placed in a drum and allowed to penetrate into the leather. After that, the leather is dyed and oiled to create a base, and the waterproofing agent made by the same company is sprayed on the finishing stage to further enhance the waterproofing. This leather is waterproof and stain-resistant, having passed the monitoring test of 3M's SCOTCHGARD®. The test is performed even if the surface is scraped, so the effect will not fade. The material used for the bottom and other parts is INVISTA's 1680d Cordura Ballistic® nylon, which has about five times the abrasion and tear strength and durability of regular nylon, and the back is treated with PVC to further improve its strength and waterproofing. In terms of functionality, the cushion of the shoulder harness uses Outlast®, a temperature regulating material developed for NASA, and the mesh material is finer and more comfortable to the touch than the one previously used. The shoulder straps of the backpack are equipped with an original mechanism called "m-strap" that reduces the weight of the luggage. An original tape with slitted reflective fabric woven into a looped tape is attached to the bottom of the main body, ensuring safety at night.
