A key case from the Notch series by master-piece. The main material is made by the only tanner in Japan that has obtained *LWG (Leather Working Group) certification. The steer leather is chrome tanned and dyed, and a special chemical is used to apply a tight coat to prevent the grain from peeling when rubbed. The grain is smoothed flat with a binder, and then painted to create a beautifully colored leather. The surface is embossed with a kip pattern to give it a smooth texture. The accessory leather used in the interior is kip leather, which has a good balance of texture and durability. It has a high fiber density, is supple and has a nice feel, and is said to be ideal for making leather accessories. The surface is made of resin, which makes it scratch-resistant and gives it a deep luster. *LWG (Leather Working Group) is an international organization that audits tanneries. It evaluates and ranks compliance and capabilities with environmental compliance, and pursues leather traceability.
