The main material is box calf leather from CONCERIA VICTORIA, a tannery founded in 1946 in Santa Croce, a region in central Italy where many leathers are produced. Conceria Victoria initially started as a vegetable tannery. Later, in the late 1960s, a new tanning technology was innovated and they began to produce chrome tanned leather. Today, while following traditional tanning methods, they have incorporated new things and ideas and continued to make improvements, resulting in a tanning method that cannot be imitated anywhere else. They mainly produce leather using carefully selected raw hides from Italy, France and other European countries. They have also been conscious of sustainability from an early stage and have been certified by ICEC (an organization that certifies the sustainability of Italian tanners). They use carefully selected raw hides from Slovenia that are most suitable for aniline finishing, and finish them with wax and aniline to give them a cordovan-like appearance. This box calf has a finer texture than cordovan, and is not only elegant, but also ages beautifully. The zipper is made of YKK EXCELLA, which has been carefully polished on all sides.
