The main material is kid leather that has been tanned with vegetable tannins to give it durability and elasticity, and two types of leather with different finishing processes are combined. The leather with a strong gloss is finished only with dye, and then a craftsman uses a puff to hand-paint the surface of each piece of leather with a wax to penetrate it, giving it an antique finish. Furthermore, a hydraulic iron, which can apply higher pressure and temperature than usual, is used to create a deeper gloss. The leather with a strong matte finish is finished with pigments, and then a matte material that suppresses the gloss is used to create a rubber-like finish. The same material is finished in completely different ways, and by combining them, it creates a contrast and allows you to enjoy the change in linear patterns.
