The Ark series, which has a voluminous body size and a rough, sophisticated silhouette, has been updated with a lightweight, soft, waterproof leather. This model is available only at our directly managed stores and official online store. The main body material is carefully selected high-quality domestic raw hides that are chrome tanned in a drum. After drying, dye and waterproofing agents are placed in the drum and rotated, allowing the chemicals to penetrate deep into the leather, creating a waterproof base.
Furthermore, by placing the base material in an empty drum and rotating it, the originally soft raw hide is chrome tanned and processed in various ways to turn it into leather with a moist texture that feels like it sticks to your hand.
In order to bring out the texture, we finish the product using only dyes.
The included leather is smooth leather from MONFRINI PELLAMI S.R.L., a long-established tannery in Milan, Italy, founded in 1898. After chrome tanning, the leather is semi-aniline-finished, with a mix of pigments with good color development and transparent dyes, and colored with a roll-coaster machine, resulting in vivid and elegant colors. Although it is plain smooth leather, it features a beautiful surface with just the right amount of luster.
This leather is unique to Monfrini Perami, a company that produces European leather with a high level of fashion sensitivity.
The lining is made of original jacquard fabric with the master-piece logo.
By inserting 5mm thick highly expanded polyethylene foam into the shoulder area on one side, the load on the shoulder is reduced, and a double ring is used for the fastener. The same design is used for the front and back torso, so it can be used comfortably regardless of dominant hand.
The side pocket, which has a cord stopper that allows you to adjust the size of the opening, is not only suitable for storing bottles, but also has a metal cord end part with a carabiner, so it can also be used to store keys, IC cards, etc.
The main zipper is YKK Symmetrical. The elements are symmetrical and have no direction, so either slider can move smoothly.
The shoulder belt tape is made of hollow nylon yarn, which is both durable and lightweight. The yarn is uniquely pre-treated to create an elegant twill weave.
This tape is voluminous yet lightweight and has a soft, silky feel against the skin.
